VITAL APPOINTS JERREL KEE AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

NAUGATUCK, Connecticut -- February 4, 2002 -- VITAL Network Services, a leader in pure-play global networking support and service, today announced the appointment of Jerrel Kee as chief financial officer (CFO). Kee has more than 20 years of corporate financial planning and management experience in the high-technology services industry. He will be responsible for managing all VITAL’s corporate finance functions worldwide and will spearhead the company’s continued financial growth as it expands its network services solutions into the global market.

He also held CFO positions at Syncordia Corporation and British Telecom North America. Kee has an extensive background in accounting, private financing, IPO management and public company operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration – Accounting from Pittsburg State University (Kansas) and is a member of the AICPA.
